DICES HR Office organized a retooling session for HR officers of DICES member schools with key objectives to enhance their performance and develop professional growth. The said retooling activity was conducted on September 29, 2023, at CADIPSA Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Twenty-seven Human Resource Officers attended the said session that focused on the “DICES Single Salary Standardization Scheme” and the “Determination of Personnel Salary Step.”

Mr. Bryan Esguerra, Program Officer for Human Resource, stated, “We foster a culture of continuous learning as part of our commitment to ensuring effective and efficient implementation of all the programs, policies and regulations, as well as the required work competencies of the Human Resource Officers.”

He also underscored the different functions of the HR personnel as part of their duties and responsibilities.

In a brief interview, Ms. Laurie A. Buscayno, HR officer of St. Augustine School-Mendez said: “Very enlightening ang topic, especially about salary wage increase. Kulang pa ang isang araw para ma-discuss ang iba pang HR Concerns, looking forward sa susunod. Also, maganda na face-to-face ang meeting because we get to better communicate with each other and learn from the practices of other DICES schools.”

The said retooling session was conducted as part of DICES’ commitment to fostering professional development among employees and building a stronger workforce.
