In an effort to deepen collaboration and ensure compliance with national educational standards, the Diocese of Imus Catholic Educational System, Inc. (DICES), under the leadership of Superintendent Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo, conducted a courtesy visit to the DepEd CALABARZON Regional Office on April 8, 2025. The meeting was held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the DepEd office in Karangalan Village, Cainta, Rizal.

The visit served to reinforce the strong and growing partnership between DICES and the Department of Education. It was also an opportunity to share updates, seek guidance, and consult with DepEd CALABARZON officials on various matters concerning the enhancement of Catholic education within the region.

Among those present from the DepEd CALABARZON Regional Office were: • Dr. Eduarda Zapanta, Chief Education Supervisor, Education Support Services Division • Dr. Luz Osmeña, Chief Education Supervisor, Quality Assurance Division • Dr. Viernalyn Nama, Chief Education Supervisor, Curriculum and Learning Management Division

Discussions focused on how DICES can further align its programs and practices with national standards, as well as how both institutions can work together more effectively in areas of curriculum development, quality assurance, and student support services.

In a formal communication addressed to the Department of Education, Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo reaffirmed DICES’ commitment to excellence and innovation, stating:

“As Superintendent of the Diocesan Schools, I take great responsibility in ensuring that our institutions not only comply with these standards but also continue to innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of our students and the broader educational landscape.”

He also encouraged all DICES member schools to remain proactive and cooperative in efforts to improve documentation, systems, and practices in accordance with DepEd's policies and expectations.
